2021.08.24 Solids Transfer Pump
The suction process is that the compressed air is sucked in the vacuum tank through the air intake, when the air fulfill the vacuum tank (body ), it produced a genitive pressure in the vacuum tank, which can suck the sludge/ water/ solids from outside to the vacuum tank through the suction port ( material). At the same time, the compressed air is discharged from air vent port . During suction ,air intake valve should be open, air vent valve should be closed. Suction valve should be open, and discharge valve should be closed. There is a timer setting inside the control panel, by which the user can set proper suction time and discharge time according to their experience and material conditions. There are 2 working mode for option, one is automatically operation, one is manual operation, the user can select as per their requirement. Under automatic mode, the vacuum pump will suck and discharge as per the setting time automatically.

The discharge process is that once suctiton process is finished as per the setting time, the suction valve is closed and discharge valve is open. The vacuum tank valve is closed as a close tank, the air enter into the pump body and push the sludge / fluids/ solids to discharge port, and the air flow out of the pump body.

Big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge for TBM slurry separation

GNLW764A-VFD decanter centrifuge with dewatering unit are delivered to our TBM engineering client for TBM slurry separation, the big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge GNLW764A-VFD is the biggest model we can produce right now, the technical specification is as below:

Bowl diameter: 760mm, bowl length : 3328mm, the designed treating capacity is 528gpm, max bowl speed s 2650rpm, normally used 2200rpm, max G force is 3000G, the typical G force is 2060G,the gearbox torch is 25000N.m. with gearbox ratio 38:1, the differential speed adjustable from 5 to 28 rpm, the main motor power is 160KW, the back drive motor power is 90KW, the mechanical separation cut point is 2 ~ 5 microns.

2021.08.18 Slurry Dewatering Unit
To get more pure water and drier solids discharged, the user can add flocculants to the mud with chemical dosing unit GNDW-6000L, which with treating capacity 6000L/h. the chemicals can be added into the 3 compartment chemical mixing tank, which with mud agitator, to mix the dry powder with water, the mixed chemicals are feed to decanter centrifuge feed tube by the chemical dosing unit, we have 2 units in the system, one for use, one as back up. The mixed chemical are mixed with slurry in the decanter centrifuge feed tube and separated by the decanter centrifuge, the chemicals can improve the separation efficiency and get more clear water and much drier solids, the water can be reused by TBM, the solids can be colleted by bag or transported by truck. All the equipments are installed inside the 20ft container, 2 containers overlay placement can save space requirement, and for convenient transportation, also it is sun proof, rain proof and user friendly design, equipped with proper windows, doors, lightings and air conditioner.

GN Decanter Centrifuge for Oil Sludge Treatment project

Recently one set of 3 phase separation skid are shipped to environmental solution company, the technical configuration is as below:
1.    One unit of GNLW554ET-VFD decanter centrifuge, with bowl diameter 22 inch, bowl length is 91 inch, the designed max capacity is 600gpm, for oil sludge treatment unit with adding proper chemicals, the capacity can be expected as 15m3/h. the max G force is up to 3051G, the separation cut point is 2 ~ 5 microns, with chemicals jetting, the separation cut point is up to 1 microns. The different speed adjustable range is 0 ~45 rpm, the max torque is 12000 N.M., with main motor 125HP and back drive motor 60HP.

2.    Screw pump 2 units, one is for decanter centrifuge feeding, the other one is for disc centrifuge flushing pump.
3.    Disc centrifuge GNSD-125, vertical centrifuge, 3 phase separation for oil water and solids separation
4.    2 sets of skid, one for decanter centrifuge, one for disc centrifuge, the treating capacity of the unit is 15m3/h for oil sludge.

2021.08.04 Oil Sludge Treatment System
The decanter centrifuge installed on the centrifuge skid with screw pump with VFD control panel.
The disc centrifuge is installed on the 3 phase separation skid with flushing pump, with flushing tank to avoid solids blocking.
We can make it as a complete skid for convenient transportation, also we can make it separately for flexible connection, the client can use them for different projects if required. If they need to lift it to the jobsite, we can also make the design compact footprint.
If there is coarse solids inside the oil sludge, coarse solids separation shaker modular should be used before the decanter centrifuge separation skid, if the oil sludge with less flowability, pre-mixing tank with heating lines should be used firstly to dilute the oil sludge, adding chemicals, mixing and heating before feed to coarse shaker modular and decanter centrifuge modular.

Another set of GN hydrovac slurry dewatering system used in North America, this is not the first unit of hydrovac slurry dewatering system working in North America, according to client’s feedback, we are very pleased to improve our design and production according to client’s feedback and suggestion, our design principal is user friendly and high performance cost ratio.

The technical configuration of GN Hydrovac Slurry Dewatering System is as below:
1)    Catch hopper, to collect the sludge material dumped from hydrovac truck and feed to coarse solids separation shaker.
2)    Coarse Shaker , to separate the coarse solids, big stones and other metal materials, so that the slurry will not damage the shaker screens of the double deck fine mesh shale shaker. The submersible slurry pump feed the slurry to fine shaker.

3)     Double Deck Fine Shaker GNZS706F-SHBF, there are 2 layers shaker deck, the top screen is to separate the coarse solids, the bottom screen is to separate the fine mesh solids. GN solids control can produce shaker screens comply with API RP13C standard from API 20 to API 325.
4)    Desilter GNZJ594-12N , which is a combination unit for desilter cone and bottom shale shaker, the 4 inch desilter cone separation cut point is 20 microns. The bottom shaker screen dimension is 585x1165mm. the desilter cone is 100% polyurethane material for better abrasion resistance.
5)    Decanter Centrifuge GNLW553-VFD , with separation cut point is 2~5 microns, by using proper chemicals, the separation cut point is up to 1 microns. The decanter centrifuge is installed on the telescopic skid, a fluids catching tank is under the decanter centrifuge.

6)    Chemical Dosing Unit, the proper chemicals should be used with decanter centrifuge.
7)    Mud Tank 10369x2100x2312mm, the dimension is suitable for container shipment, with tank accessories and pipelines, the equipments installed on top of it.

Shaker separation package to Environmental service company

Recently we shipped shaker separation package to environmental service company, the working process is very simple, firstly the solids liquid mixture slurry are feed to shale shaker through top box pipelines, the slurry flow to buffer box firstly and move forward evenly from the first shaker screen to the last shaker screens, through vibration strength, the solids are separated out from the liquids, the dry solids are collected by cutting box and the fluids are collected by catching tank, the centrifugal pump installed on the tank will transfer the fluids to other place.

If required further treatment, decanter centrifuge with dewatering unit can be used, by using proper chemicals, the decanter centrifuge separation cut point it up to 1 micron, most of the ultra fine solids are separated out, the clear water is recycled, it can be sent to further water treatment process or it can be reused.
Features of drying shale shaker:

  1. The shaker screen installed on the shale shaker is produced by GN solids control and the composite material frame shaker screen can work longer working life and storage for longer time.
  2. The water spray system are equipped with the shale shaker to avoid blocking the shaker screen.
  3. The high G force up to 8.0 G for better drying performance provided by 2 vibration motor
  4. The different mesh screens can be used to separate different size solids as per requirement.

TBM/piling desander unit with dewatering centrifuge for trenchless engineering

Recently one batch of equipments for trenchless engineering projects are ready for shipment, including 1 set of GNMS-500D desander unit, 1 set of GNMS-1000D desander unit, 3 ea mud tank, 1 ea jet mud mixer, 1 set of GNLW554E-VFD dewatering centrifuge.

The working process is as below:
The desander unit first separation coarse solids shaker screen to separate the coarse solids from drilling mud, the fluids drop into the intermediate tank which is very small, then the feeding pump installed on the desander unit will transfer the fluids to desander cone to separate the fine solids up to 45 microns. The clean fluids flow to storage tank. The dewatering centrifuge feeding pump pick up the fluids and transfer to the dewatering centrifuge for fine solids separation up to 2 microns. The clean fluids are recycled and storage in a mud tank, the jet mud mixer will mix the fluids with chemicals to prepare for new drilling, which can save money for the clients. The jet mud mixer is a skid mounted mud mixing unit with mixing hopper, mixing pump, pipelines, control panel and valves.


The dewatering centrifuge GNLW554E-VFD is a big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge, the bowl diameter is 22 inch, the bow length is 91 inch, the L/D ratio is 4.1, the designed capacity is 600gpm, the typical capacity is 480gpm, max speed is 3150rpm, max G force
Is 3051G, typical G force is 2412G. The main motor power is 90KW, the back drive motor power is 45KW, based on different solids content and solids size distribution, the operator can decide to use chemicals or not for better separation performance.


The mud tanks can be used as storage tank and mixing tank, each compartment with its agitator for better mixing, through pipelines the jet mud mixer can mix from any compartment.

Mud mixing system for engineering work

2 mud tank mixing system are ready for shipment which will be used for trenchless engineering work. GN desander unit for TBM, Piling is the first phase separation and second phase separation system, we have 3 models of desander unit for option, GNMS-200D, GNMS-500D, GNMS-1000D with treating capacity 200gpm, 500gpm, 1000gpm. GNMS-200D desander unit separation cut point is 15 microns, GNMS-500D desander unit separation cut point is 40 microns.


After TBM desander unit, the fluids can be recovered, if the silt is accumulated too much in the fluids, dewatering centrifuge unit should be used to separate the ultra fine solids, by using proper chemicals, most of the solids bigger than 1 microns can be separated out, the customer can get clear water recovery and dry solids for easier disposal. The unit can be installed inside standard container with windows, doors for less noise and sun/water proof. For less cost, the chemical dosing unit can be also installed on the dewatering centrifuge tank.


To prepare for new drilling fluids, the mud mixing tank should be applied. We can design mud mixing system with different mixing capacity and different chemicals according to client’s requirement. Recently 2 mud tank mixing system are ready for shipment for trenchless engineering company. Their mud mixing system including 2 package of mixing tank, the first tank with 1 transfer pump, 1 mixing pump with 1 mixing hopper ( venturi type), all of them are installed on one mud tank skid with pipelines and accessories. The second mixing tank with 1 transfer pump, 2 mixing pump with 1 venturi type mixing hopper, and 2 chemical mixing tank with mud agitator on top for better agitating. Each mixing pump with 1 individual control panel, the chemicals should be provided by customer based on their requirement.

Disc Stack Separator and Decanter Centrifuge for oil sludge treatment

The disc stack separator and decanter centrifuge is the core equipments for oil sludge treatment system, a complete set of oil sludge treatment system including sludge vacuum pump, pre-mixing modular, coarse solids separation shaker modular, 3 phase separation modular. According to client’s requirement and the treated material condition, the user can select they required modular.


The 3 phase separation modular including decanter centrifuge with its feed pump, telescopic skid, disc centrifuge with its buffer tank, oil storage tank with oil pump, water storage tank with water pump, all the equipments are installed on the same skid for convenient operation and transportation. The client can make other accessories by themselves, the major equipments disc stack separator and decanter centrifuge technical configuration is as below:
GNLW-454ET decanter centrifuge with bowl diameter 18 inch(450mm) , bowl length 74.5 inch (1890mm), max speed is 3500rpm, max G force is 3084G, bowl L/R ratio is 4.2
The bowl straight cone is made of duplex stainless steel 2304, the other bowl components are made of stainless steel 316L, the screw is made of stainless steel, the screw propeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles, the bearing is SKF brand for longer working life, the solids discharged port and fluids discharge port are all protected by tungsten alloy. The bowl collection box are also made of stainless steel material.
GNSD-90 disc stack separator technical spec:


Bowl diameter is 580mm, slide piston is 500mm, the max speed is 6150rpm, max G force is 12273G, motor power is 18.5KW, the starting time is 10 to 15 minutes.
The allowed solids content to feed into disc centrifuge should be less than 3%, the solids size should be as small as possible to reduce the abrasion.

Dewatering centrifuge unit ready for shipment

3 units of dewatering centrifuge units are ready for shipment to Europe client. The equipment list including:

3 sets of dewatering unit
3 sets of centrifuge feeding pump
3 sets of liquid collection tank


The working process is that the centrifuge feeding pump transfer the slurry to decanter centrifuge, at the same time, the proper chemicals are mixed and prepared in the PAM Three Tank Automatic Powder Polymer Mixing System, and the chemical dosing pump transfer the chemicals to decanter centrifuge, too. The slurry and chemicals are mixing in the decanter centrifuge feed tube, then the decanter centrifuge separate the solids and water in the screw. The longer of the centrifuge bowl length, the longer time of the fluids stay in the screw, so the separation performance is better to get clear water and drier solids. The water will be reused to save cost for the user, the waste will be reused a lot and save the waste disposal cost.
The decanter centrifuge features are we below:


1) The bowl material is made of duplex stainless steel 2304 by centrifugal casting.
2) The screw propeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles with stellite backing plates for longer working life
3) The liquid discharge port and solids discharge port are all protected by tungsten carbide wear liners which is interchangeable.
4) The pond depth is adjustable and large G force range, the max G force is 4500rpm, the working bowl speed is 0~3800rpm.
The bowl frame is made of carbon steel, coated with heavy duty corrosion resistant (Ball lasting to SA.2.5 Grade, Zinc rich Heavy Duty epoxy primer 50um, Epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate 100 um, Polyurethane topcoat finishing 80um)
5) VFD control panel drived with main motor , back drive motor and feed pump motor.

2 sets of drilling waste management system to Africa

2 sets of drilling waste management system are shipped to Africa for oil based drilling cuttings treatment.


The screw conveyor as drilling waste transfer system to transfer the oil based drilling cuttings to vertical cuttings dryer top open port. The working principal of the vertical G dryer is that the screen basket traps wet solids and accelerates up to 900rpm with max 420G. The fluids passed through screen basket opening, the solids extracted by flights which is installed on the cone, the cone rotate slower than the bowl. The flights are protected by tungsten carbide alloy for abrasion resistance, the gap between the screen basket and bowl for proper operation. The screen basket opening with option as 0.35mm, 0.5mm, 0.25mm, the most popular screen opening is 0.5mm, the smaller screen opening will be very easily blocked. So the internal high pressure air knife is used to flush the screen basket regularly. The independent oil lubrication system is used to lubricate the bearing system via oil pump, from top to bottom flow back to oil tank via oil return pipe.


The components including flights, rotor, screen basket, bell jar, 55KW main motor, control panel, lubrication system, upper shell, feeding hopper, filter unit, cushion, mud block plate, distribution plate, solids discharge trough, oil return pipe, motor pulley with belt, oil tank, etc.


The high speed decanter centrifuge and VFD decanter centrifuge is installed on the telescopic skid to separate fine solids from the drilling fluids, the treated fluids can be recovery and reused to prepare new drilling fluids, the customer can save money through drilling waste disposal cost reduction, drilling fluids recovery, waste transportation cost reduction. The GNLW363-VFD decanter centrifuge with max G force up to 3063G, the max speed is up to 3900rpm, the normal working speed is 3200rpm, the screw pump installed on the package skid as decanter centrifuge feeding pump.
