The jet mud mixer is consist of mud mixing hopper and mud mixing pump, pipelines, valves, electric control panel on the oilfield skid, the mud mixing package can be easily connected with client’s old mud tank by flexible hose. The mixing hopper can be installed on top of mud tank, and install the mixing pump on the tank skid for better mixing efficiency.

Vertical cuttings dryer is the core equipment for drilling waste management system, it is mainly used for oil based drilling cuttings treatment. The complete drilling waste management system for oil based drilling cuttings treatment including 1 ea vertical cuttings dryer, 1 ea decanter centrifuge, 1ea decanter centrifuge feeding pump ( screw pump), 1 ea flushing pump ( screw pump), telescopic skid for vertical cuttings dryer, telescopic skid for decanter centrifuge, complete package skid with intermediate tank, pipelines and accessories. The screw conveyor is installed horizontally to pick up drilling cuttings from solids control equipments, another unit is installed slantly to transfer the drilling cuttings to vertical cuttings dryer, the cuttings box or another unit auger to pick up the discharged solids and transfer to other place.
The fluids discharged from vertical cuttings dryer will flow to intermediate tank and the screw pump feed the fluids to decanter centrifuge for further treatment, the separation cut point is 2~5 microns.

Decanter Centrifuge & sludge transfer pump ready for shipment

As professional manufacturer of decanter centrifuge and sludge transfer pump in China, GN solids control can design complete waste water treatment system and supply single equipments to our target clients like environmental engineering company, so that they can make a mud tank system with accessories locally for less freight cost and importation cost.


Recently we shipped 2ea mini decanter centrifuges with centrifugal pump and sludge vacuum pump to our client environmental engineering client in the world. The 9 inch decanter centrifuge is the smallest model we can produce, we also have 14 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, 18 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, 22 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, 30 inch bowl decanter centrifuge for different industry. We have GNLW223D series with bowl length 26.4 inch, the ratio is 3, the max G force is 2492G, the max bowl speed is 4500rpm, the normal working speed is 3800rpm. GNLW224 series decanter centrifuge with ratio 4, the bowl length is 36.4 inch, the max speed is 5000 rpm, the normal working speed is 0 ~4500rpm, the max G force is 3077 G. We will select proper model decanter centrifuge for client’s different projects.


Normally we use screw pump as ideal feeding pump of decanter centrifuge, sometimes due to space limit and other consideration, we also use centrifugal pump and submersible slurry pump as centrifuge feeding pump, compare with screw pump, the slurry pump ’s flow rate can not be controlled by adjust the pump motor frequency, it can be adjusted by valves and installed a flow meter on the pump outlet, but the maintenance cost is cheaper, especially when solids content is very high, so the impeller and pump casing material should more abrasion resistance material.


Vacuum pump is used to transfer different types sludge, like industrial waste sludge, oil sludge, drilling cuttings, drilling fluids, etc.

CBM mud recycling system for Coal Exploration Company

Recently GN solids control shipped one set of CBM mud recycling system for coal exploration company. The technical configuration is as below:


1) Linear motion shale shaker 2 units: 3 panel shale shaker GNZS703F installed with 3pcs composite material frame shaker screens, we can produce API 20 to API 325 comply with API RP13C standard. Possum belly for the 2 units of shale shakers to collect sludge from drilling rig and distributor to 2 units shale shaker buffer box evenly. Each shale shaker is drived by 2 ea of Italy Oil brand vibration motors, GN own produced explosion proof starter is installed on the shale shaker. The function is to separate coarse solids from the coal slurry.


2) Desander with mini bottom shaker and centrifugal pump, 1ea of 10 inch desander cone installed on top of bottom shale shaker, the separation cut point is 45 microns
3) Desilter with mini bottom shaker and centrifugal pump, 8ea of 4 inch desilter cone installed on top of bottom shale shaker, the separation cut point is 20 microns


4) Mud tank system with tank accessories, as mud agitator, mud gun, walkway, handrails, stairs, pipelines, man hole, electric control system, clean gate, high position valves, we will design customized tank dimension according to the required capacity and installed equipments
5) Jet mud mixer, which is composed of mixing hopper, mixing pump, pipelines, valves and control panel on one skid.
6) Middle speed decanter centrifuge for barite recovery, the working speed is 1800rpm, the separation cut point is 5 ~7 microns.
7) One unit of slug tank with mud agitator are lay on the tank

Solids liquid separation system and decanter centrifuge package to Europe client

One unit of solids liquid separation system and one decanter centrifuge package to Europe client. The solids removal unit can be widely used for mining core drilling waste water treatment. The separation cut point is 2~5 microns, the recycled water can be re-used for drilling, the user will save drilling cost, less water consumption, less waste produced.


The submersible slurry pump is picking up to transfer the waste sludge from pit to the solids liquid separation system shale shaker. The shale shaker is used to separate big solids and reduce solids content, the GNLW223-VFD decanter centrifuge is to separate fine solids bigger than 2 microns, the screw pump as feeding pump of the VFD decanter centrifuge, the flow rate can be adjusted by changing the frequency of the pump motor, it will be controlled by the decanter centrifuge VFD control panel. All of these equipments are installed on top of the mud tank with tank accessories.


The decanter centrifuge package GNLW224E is extra required, the discharged water is more clear since the bowl length is longer than GNLW223 series decanter centrifuge. Both of the bowl diameter is 9 inch ( 220mm), the bowl length of 223 series is 670mm, the bowl length of 224 series is 924mm, the ratio of 223 series is 3, the ratio of 224 centrifuge is 4.2, the fluids can be treated better and get more clear water.


9 inch bowl decanter centrifuge is the mini centrifuge among GN decanter centrifuges, we can also produce 14 inch bowl, 18 inch bowl, 22 inch bowl and 30 inch bowl decanter centrifuge with different bowl length, different rotation speed, different G force and different treating capacity for your various applications. 4 units of TBM/ Micron tunneling/ Piling desander unit ready for shipment

Recently GN solids control shipped 4 units of desander units to domestic HDD contractor, the desander unit is also called economic mud cleaning system, which can be widely used for mud cleaning of TBM, Piling, micro tunneling, pipe jacking, HDD, etc. civil engineering works. With different treating capacity, we have GNMS-200B, GNMS-500D, GNMS-1000D for option. If the client need mud mixing and storage, they need to prepare for extra jet mud mixer connected with their storage tank as mixing and storage tank. The submersible slurry pump is installed vertically on top of mud pit to transfer the waste sludge to the desander unit. The composite material frame shaker screens on both top later and bottom layer of the double deck shale shaker is utilized for longer working life and reduce screen replacement time.


With economic cost, small footprint, compact design, easy operation, the desander unit is very popular for trenchless engineering companies. Normally a desander unit including a double deck shale shaker with proper qty hydrocyclones, 1 centrifugal pump, one catch tank to pick up the treated mud from first phase coarse solids separation shaker screens, the clean mud from hydrocyclones will flow to storage tank directly through pipelines.


For 200gpm mud cleaning unit, the hydrocyclone is 4 ea 4 inch desilter cone. For 500gpm mud cleaning unit, the hydrocyclone is 1 ea 10 inch desander cone, for 1000 gpm desander unit, the hydrocylone is 2 ea 10 inch desander cone, the centrifugal feeding pump model will be changed accordingly. All of the economic desander unit is a 2 phase cleaning unit, if the user need 3 phase cleaning unit, we will recommend our standard or customized design high configuration mud recycling system.
The operation cost of the desander unit is very low, the critical wear parts including pump impeller, seals, bearings and shaker screens, hydrocyclones.

Decanter Centrifuge and Screw Conveyor are ready for shipment

One batch of VFD decanter centrifuge and screw conveyor are ready for shipment to waste water treatment company. As one of the professional manufacturer of decanter centrifuge in China, GN Solids Control can produce different size decanter centrifuges from 9 inch, 14 inch, 18 inch, 22 inch, 30 inch bowl diameter for different applications, including industrial waste water treatment, mining tailing treatment, dredging slurry separation system, HDD & construction waste slurry treatment, oil & gas drilling mud and drilling cuttings treatment, oil sludge treatment unit.


To transfer waste slurry with high solids content, 3 ways can be selected, screw conveyor system, sludge vacuum pump unit, drilling cuttings transfer pump. The screw conveyor is the traditional equipment to transfer waste slurry with continuous working. Each section standard length is 12ft, we can provide 12ft, 24ft, 36ft, 48ft length screw conveyor for option. The sludge vacuum pump is 100% air operated pump without electricity power supply, the discharge distance is up to 1000m, the suction distance is up to 50m, the max solids content is up to 80%, and max solids size is 75mm. The pressure required is 80 ~114 PSI, and air demand is 17m3/ min (600CFM), the user should prepare the air compressor to supply air.
GN decanter centrifuge features as below:


1) Centrifuge straight bowl material is made of duplex stainless steel 2205 or 2304 by centrifugal casting, the cone section is made of stainless steel 316L, which is much better than other’s material SS304. The centrifuge collection box is made of SS304.
2) The screw is made of stainless steel 316L, and the impeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles for longer working life, it is repairable once damaged. The open impeller design will increase the treating efficiency and separation performance.
3) The bearing is made of SKF brand for reliable operation.

OBM Waste Treatment Unit

GN solids control can design and produce both WBM waste treatment system and OBM waste treatment unit. The core equipments for WBM waste treatment system is high G drying shaker and VFD decanter centrifuge, the major equipments for OBM waste treatment unit is vertical cuttings dryer and VFD decanter centrifuge.


The working principal of vertical cuttings dryer is as below:
The major components of vertical G dryer including stainless steel screen basket, rotor assembly, bearing, individual oil lubrication system, control panel, main motor, oil pump motor, air knife to clean the screen basket to prevent it from blocking the screen basket, bell jar. By centrifugal force, the screen basket accelerates to 900rpm with 420G force, the liquid is forced pass through the screen opening, and the dry solids are extracted by flights to the cone, which rotate slowly than the screen basket. The flights are protected by tungsten carbide alloy with better abrasion resistance for longer working life. The fluids flow to intermediate tank through fluids discharge line, the dry solids are discharged from discharge port, the client can collect the cuttings by screw conveyor and transfer to cuttings container continuously. The oil on the cuttings in the discharged solids is below 5%, which can meet the environmental protection regulation for land fill. The fluids in the intermediate tank will be transferred to decanter centrifuge for ultra fine solids separation. The vertical cuttings dryer and VFD decanter centrifuge are installed on the same skid for convenient operation and transportation.


The cuttings transfer system including one horizontal screw conveyor and slant installed screw conveyor, or cuttings transfer pump with diesel engine drived, or vacuum pump which is 100% air operated pump to transfer the oil based drilling waste to vertical cuttings dryer system.

Waste water treatment decanter centrifuge

Recently GN solids control shipped 2 units of GNLW554EP decanter centrifuges to our client in Yunan Province, China, they have a project to treat industrial waste water from an industrial area. As one of the most professional decanter centrifuge manufacturer in China, we have C series decanter centrifuge, Y series decanter centrifuge and P series decanter centrifuge.

Recently we shipped one set of CBM mud recycling system for coal mining company in China, different with oil & gas drilling rig and HDD mud recycling system, compared with oil & gas solids control system, the CBM drilling rig mud recycling system is with less equipments, less storage capacity, less treating capacity required, smaller footprint. Compared with HDD mud recycling system, the CBM mud cleaning system use more equipments, more storage and mixing capacity, more treating capacity.


The CBM mud recycling system including the equipments below:
(1) 2ea of shale shaker as the first phase cleaning equipments to separate coarse solids, each screen with 3pcs shaker screens, total screen area is 2.63m2.
(2) 1ea of desander with bottom shale shaker and 1ea 10 inch desander cone as the second phase cleaning equipment, to separate the fine solids size 40 ~ 70 microns, the bottom shale shaker with 2pcs screens, the total screen area is 1.35m2.


(3) 1ea of desilter with bottom shale shaker and 8ea 4 inch desilter cone as the third phase cleaning equipment, to separate the fine solids size 15 ~ 40 microns, the bottom shale shaker with 2pcs screens, the total screen area is 1.35m2.
