The features of GN high speed decanter centrifuge:
1) Centrifuge bowl straight cone is made of duplex stainless steel 2304, which is much better than SS316 & SS304, the taper cone of the bowl and other components are made of stainless steel 316L.
2) The screw is made of stainless steel for better anti-corrosion, which is heat treatment up to 1000 degree, the opening screw propeller design increase the treating capacity


3) The bowl collection box is made of SS304 for better anti-corrosion, the air spring design allow one worker to open the collection box easily without damage their body.

The max speed of the high speed decanter centrifuge can be up to 3900 rpm, the normal operation speed is 3200 rpm. The max G force is up to 3063G, and the normal G force is 2062G. The decanter centrifuge is used to separate low gravity solids from the drilling fluids ( both for water based mud and oil based mud), we have pulley set with middle speed which can be replaced for barite recovery. The client can use VFD decanter centrifuge if they do not want to replace different speed pulley, the VFD control panel can adjust the speed of the decanter centrifuge for both LGS separation and barite recovery.

Dewatering Centrifuge for TBM

The dewatering centrifuge produced by GN solids control can be widely used for TBM, waste water treatment, oil sludge separation system, drilling fluids treatment, tailing slurry treatment, etc. industries.


The dewatering centrifuge should be with bigger size, when the chemical dosing system is applied, the treating capacity of the decanter centrifuge will be reduced a lot. Normally the bow diameter is 18 inch, 22 inch, or 30 inch, we have models of GNLW453-VFD, GNLW454-VFD, GNLW553-VFD, GNLW554-VFD, GNLW764A-VFD for option. The most popular model is GNLW553-VFD, with bowl diameter is 22 inch, the bowl length is 71 inch, the ratio is 3.2, the bigger of the ratio, the better of the separation performance of the material. The dewatering centrifuge is drived by VFD control panel with main motor inverter, back drive motor inverter, pump motor inverter, the centrifuge motor can be started with variable frequency so that the start current could be smaller, the motor will not easily burnt because of high current. All of the 3 VFD drive are used world famous brand for reliable working. The other electrical components are also made of world famous brand components, like Siemens, Shneider, Omron, etc.


The dewatering centrifuge and chemical dosing system are installed in a closed 20ft container with windows and doors for convenient transportation and operation. It can use for both powder and fluids chemicals. The dewatering centrifuge mechanical separation cut point is 2~ 5microns, by using proper chemicals, the separation cut point is up to 1 microns. Most of the ultra fine solids can be separated out from the TBM slurry and get the clean water, which can be reused for Tunneling boring machine.
The TBM slurry should be treated by desander unit or mud cleaning unit firstly before feeding to dewatering centrifuge to protect the decanter centrifuge and improve the treatment efficiency.

A basic oil sludge treatment system including: vacuum pump, pre-mixing tank modular, coarse solids separation shale shaker modular, chemical dosing system, decanter centrifuge and 3 phase centrifuge separation skid with buffer tanks. The decanter centrifuge and 3 phase separation skid is the most essential components, the other modular in separate skid is to separate the coarse solids as much as possible and reduce the solids content, so that the decanter centrifuge will not be easily damaged because of high solids content, and the oil is easily separated from the solids. When the solids content is below 5%, and the solids size is below 1 microns, it can be freely treated by the disc centrifuge and get the pure oil, water and few solids.

For cheaper price and higher treating capacity, inclined plate clarifier, oil water separator can be utilized when the required performance result is permit, as the discharged solids with too much moisture, and separated water with much suspended mass, the separated oil BSW is also high, by using proper chemicals, the result will be better. The advantages is with cheaper price, higher treating capacity, no electricity power is required, when there is explosive gas involved in the sloop oil , it can be used freely without explosion .

The centrifugal pump #2 feed the slurry from desander compartment to desilter cone, the separated solids from desilter cone dropped on the shaker screen to recovery drilling fluids, the dry solids are separated. The fluids flow to desilter compartment. The centrifugal pump #3 feed the clean fluids to decanter centrifuge to separate the fine solids and storage in the centrifuge tank.

Drilling Fluids treatment decanter centrifuge shipped to Russia

Mini decanter centrifuge for solids liquid separation for South America

The mini decanter centrifuge is shipped to South America for solids liquid separation project. The function is to separate the ultra fine solids from the waste water, so that most of the fine solids can be separated out to get qualified liquid, which can be disposal directly or sent to third party waste water treatment facility for further treatment.


There are 2 models of mini decanter centrifuge for option, GNLW223D decanter centrifuge is normally used for diamond core drilling waste water treatment to recover water for reuse, also it can be used for mini oil sludge separation unit. GNLW224E-VFD decanter centrifuge can be used to treat waste water with high viscosity and higher density. The models with same bowl diameter 9 inch, but the bowl length is different. GNLW224E-VFD bowl length is 36.4inch, which is much longer than GNLW223D bowl length 26.4 inch, the waste water can stay longer inside the bowl, the discharged solids is much drier for easier disposal, the treated fluids is more clear, if necessary, proper chemical should be used together to increase the treatment capability. The mechanical separation cut point is 2 microns, by adding chemicals, it can treat solids up to 1 microns.


GNLW223D decanter centrifuge max bowl speed is 4500rpm, the typical speed is 3800rpm, gearbox ratio is 35:1, gearbox torch is 500N.M., max G force is 2492G, typical G force is 1777G. GNLW224E-VFD decanter centrifuge max bowl speed is 5000rpm, the typical speed is 0~4500rpm, gearbox ratio is 95:1, gearbox torch is 1400N.M., max G force is 3077G, typical G force is 2493G.
The bowl material is made of stainless steel 316, the screw is made of SS 304, and the propeller protection is by tungsten carbide tiles. The bearing is top brand NSK/FAG for longer working life. And the solids discharge port and fluids distribution port are both protected by tungsten alloy.

Oil sludge treatment decanter centrifuge to Brunei

The decanter centrifuge for oil sludge treatment system produced by GN solids control is shipped to Brunei recently. For different treating capacity requirement, we have different models for option.
GNLW224EP-VFD decanter centrifuge is used for 1m3/h oil sludge separation system, GNLW363C-VFD decanter centrifuge is used for 5 m3/h oil sludge separation system, GNLW553C-VFD decanter centrifuge is used for 15 m3/h oil sludge separation system.

The working process is as below:
The vacuum pump pick up the oil sludge from the waste pit to pre-mixing tank, the chemical or water or diesel oil will be added in this process and the mud agitator is agitating to mix them evenly, the submersible slurry pump will transfer the oil sludge to shale shaker to separate the coarse solids from the oil sludge, then the fluids will drop down into the mud tank, the screw pump will transfer the fluids to decanter centrifuge, by adding proper chemicals to improve the separation performance. The fluids from decanter centrifuge will drop into the buffer tank, then flow to vertical centrifuge to separate oil and water. The oil and water will be recovered into storage tank.

Vacuum degasser and mud cleaner manufacturer in China

The mud cleaner is desander cone, desilter cone, bottom shale shaker 3 in 1. We can also provide customized design for the combination of hydrocyclones and bottom shale shaker, like desander cone + bottom shaker or desilter cone + bottom shale shaker, desilter cone + double deck shale shaker, desander cone + double deck bottom shale shaker for different applications. Compare with separate desander and desilter without bottom shale shaker, the mud cleaner with smaller footprint and better separation performance, the user can get more drilling fluids and much drier discharged solids.
For the bottom shale shaker option, we have 3 panel shale shaker, 4 panel shale shaker , 2 panel shale shaker, double deck shale shaker and tandem shale shaker to meet different requirement. All the shaker screens are with composite material frame which is produced by GN own screen workshop. TBM Slurry Separation Unit updated design

GN new released design of TBM slurry separation unit including :
GNTBM-240M, treating capacity 240 m3/h;
GNTBM-360M, treating capacity 360 m3/h;
GNTBM-500M, treating capacity 500 m3/h;
GNTBM-1000M, treaing capacity 1000 m3/h.


Take GNTBM-240M TBM slurry separation unit as example, the technical specification as below:
1) Coarse solids shaker to separate big solids from the slurry, the separated slurry will drop into the bottom mud tank.
2) #1 centrifugal pump will transfer the slurry to desander cone, the cut point is 45 microns, after treatment, the fluids will drop into the mud tank. The separated solids will be drying by the top layer screen firstly and then drop to the bottom layer screen for drying again, so that more useful fluids will be collected and the discharged solids is much drier for easier disposal. The centrifugal pump is 100% interchangeable with famous brand centrifugal pump parts, and the pump casing, impeller are both made of hard ductile iron alloy.


3) #2 centrifugal pump transfer the fluids to desilter cone, the cleaner fluids will drop into the mud tank again for reuse by the TBM machine, the discharged solids will be drying again by the double deck shale shaker or single deck bottom shale shaker. All of the shaker screens are composite material frame shaker screen with longer working life and larger effective screen area, which is made by GN solids factory.


4) Because of space limit at the jobsite and for convenient movement, we design the TBM slurry separation unit in very compact design. To get more clear water, the client can use dewatering centrifuge in the next process by working with chemical dosing system. GN can provide different treating capacity dewatering centrifuge based on client’s requirement.

Solids Vacuum Pump for offshore drilling

GN brand solids vacuum pump has been widely used to transfer different materials in different industry, like mud tank cleaning, crude oil tank bottom cleaning oil sludge, drilling cuttings for both onshore and offshore drilling platform, drilling waste, oil contaminated soil, sand, dredging slurry, industrial waste slurry, etc, it also can be used to clean the cabin, tank top and other drilling site area with the small model vacuum cleaner unit.


GN solids vacuum pump have 3 models for your option GNSP-40B with 40m3/h, GNSP-20B with 20m3/h, GNSP-10B with 10m3/h. The small size pump allowed solids size is max 50mm, max suction distance is 50m, max discharge distance is up to 500m, the max solids content is 80%; The Air Demand is 8m3/min (280 CFM).
The bigger size GNSP-40B pump with max allowed solids size is 75mm, max suction distance is 50m, the max discharge distance is 1000m, the max solids content allowed is 80%. Air demand is 17m3/min (600CFM).
The user should provide an air compressor for air supply to the vacuum pump, it is a 100% air operated pump, it is suitable for offshore drilling platform because electricity power is limited there. Compared with screw conveyor transfer system, vacuum pump can transfer much more long distance, no power consumption, less maintenance cost and spare parts cost, less cost, less space requirement, offshore drilling platform is normally with limit space, screw conveyor transfer system is hardly to be installed there, then several units of solids vacuum pump unit can be installed easily.
