Hydrovac excavation waste slurry treatment system in Canada

One unit of Hydrovac excavation waste slurry treatment system is shipped to Canada, the function of this treatment system is to recover the water and remedy the soil, the environmental protection regulation is very strict in North America, we already have 2 units of such hydrovac excavation waste slurry treatment working in the State.

The slurry treatment system is consist of equipments below:
1) Waste collecting hopper:
The waste collecting hopper collect the waste slurry discharged from hydrovac truck.
2) Course solids washing tank
The coarse screen under waste collection hopper will separate the big size trash and other mass firstly before feeding to the high G drying shaker.


The high G drying shaker with GN brand composite material frame shaker screens will separate most big size solids and reduce the solids content before feeding to the desilter cone.
3) Fine solids washing unit
Fine solids is separated by desilter cones and the solids is drying by the bottom drying shaker so the discharged soil will be drier for disposal and more fluids will be collected.
4) Dewatering centrifuge unit


The dewatering centrifuge is 22 inch big bowl big volume centrifuge with feeding pump and telescopic skid. The result will be better by using chemical dosing system. The ultra fine solids below 2 microns will be separated by decanter centrifuge with dewatering unit.

Big bowl big capacity decanter centrifuge shipped to Australia

This week 2 units of big bowl big capacity decanter centrifuges with VFD control panel are shipped to Australia for mining sludge separation applications. Features of GN decanter centrifuge:
1)    Full stainless steel cover with PLC smart control, vibration sensor, temperature sensor to adjust the frequency of the centrifuge to meet the different requirement of the clients. The main motor, back drive motor and pump motor converter is made of ABB brand, all the other electrical components are from Siemens, Schnerder, ABB and other famous brand.

2)    The centrifuge bowl is made of duplex stainless steel 2304, the screw is made of stainless steel by 1000 degree heating, the solids discharge port and fluids distribution port is protected by tungsten alloy, the impeller opening deign will enlarge the treating capacity and the treatment performance.

3)    The bearing lubrication system feed the lubrication oil by the oil pump, it is cooling by the plate type heating exchanging system can effectively cool down the lubrication oil so that to get a better cooling performance.
4)    The client can install the decanter centrifuge with VFD control panel, feeding pump, on the telescopic skid, during transportation, the user will low down the telescopic skid to fit for transportation height limit.
5)    The specification of the big bowl big capacity centrifuge: The designed treating capacity is 120m3/h, the max G force is 3000G, the normal speed is 0 ~2200 rpm, max speed is 2650rpm, the bowl size is 760mm, the bowl length is 3328mm, the main motor power is 160KW, the back drive motor is 90KW. Large Bowl 30 inch GNLW764A Decanter Centrifuge for Mining Industry to Australia

This week GN solids control shipped 2 units of Large Bowl 30 inch GNLW764A Decanter Centrifuge for Mining Industry to Australia, this is the largest centrifuge model we have made right now, we have 9 inch, 14 inch, 18 inch, 22 inch and 30 inch bowl decanter centrifuge with different treating capacity, different speed, different G force for various applications.

The diameter of the centrifuge bowl is 760mm, the bowl length is 3328mm, the treating capacity is 528gpm, max bowl speed is 2650rpm, typical bowl speed is 2200rpm, max G force up to 3000G, typical G force is 2060G. The main power is 160KW, back drive motor is 90KW, the gearbox Torch is 25000.N.M.

Same with the smaller decanter centrifuge, the screw propeller protection is tungsten carbide tiles, the bowl fluids distribution port and solids discharge port is protected tungsten alloy for longer working life, the bowl material is made of duplex stainless steel 2304 for anti corrosion.
The bearing for this big bowl centrifuge is very big, need separate lubrication system for better lubrication to extend the working life of the bearings. The plate type heating exchanging system can effectively cool down the lubrication oil so that to get a better cooling performance and the temperature sensor installed on the bearing seat will send signal to the PLC to trip off the centrifuge in case of over high temperature.

Screw conveyor to Africa

We shipped several units of screw conveyor to Africa for drilling cuttings transferring, this is not the first order from this client, they repeat order every year including shale shaker, desander, desilter, centrifugal pump, screw conveyor, etc.

The screw conveyor is one method to transfer the drilling cuttings to drilling waste management system, when the drilling cuttings are from solids control equipments, screw conveyor is workable. If the fluids content is bigger and the drilling cuttings are not treated by solids control equipments, the pump is workable to transfer the waste. The auger length and diameter is customized according to the required transfer capacity and the distance between the waste and the drilling waste management system.

Except for screw conveyor, we also shipped shale shaker and poor boy degasser to Africa. The 4 units of poor boy degasser ( also known as mud gas separator), which is used before shale shaker as well control equipments, to separate the hazardous gas from the drilling mud to prevent it from kick off. According to the drilling depth, we can use different size mud gas separator, the standard size is 1000mm diameter, we also have 600mm, 800mm, 1200mm diameter for option.

Oil sludge separation system sold to Europe

This week we shipped one set of oil sludge separation system to Europe client, this unit has been demonstrated in CIPPE 2018 oil exhibition in Beijing, and got interests from many clients who is in oil sludge separation projects. After the exhibition, the oil sludge separation system was shipped to a client’s jobsite for oil sludge separation testing, they are satisfied with the result. After testing, the unit is shipped back to GN facility for cleaning and maintenance, and purchased by Europe client. They also ordered a 15 m3/h oil sludge treatment unit which is under construction.

Fully Hydraulic Drive Decanter Centrifuge ready for shipment to Middle East

Recently GN solids control shipped one unit of fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge to Middle East, this is a new developed decanter centrifuge except for electric drive decanter centrifuge. Till now we have already developed many series decanter centrifuge to be applied for many industry applications.

1)    The hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge is normally used in high temperature ambient for heavy mud with flexible bowl and differential speed, especially in middle east, the environmental temperature is very high.
2)    Compared with the electric drive VFD decanter centrifuge, the fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge with compact design, all the driving system, motors, centrifuge bowl assy are installed on the same skid for convenient transportation.

The adjust differential speed allows a better solids separation result for heavy mud.
3)    Except for FHD decanter centrifuge,GN solids control also produce a range of VFD decanter centrifuge, with positive pressurized VFD control panel, ABB brand major electric components inside, PLC smart control, HMI interface, stainless steel cover, self cooling tube or air conditioner for high temperature area.

The unit is installed under the last screen of the shale shaker or installed externally of the shale shaker. It needs a air compressor to provide air supply for operation, most of the rigs will own one air compressor, no need to buy extrally. The air will create suction on the last screen of the shale shaker, reduce the liquid on the cuttings by 30% to 50%, separation of the fluids out of the cuttings.

1)    3 panel shale shaker, GNZS703F with 2.63 m2 total screen area is one of the best sold model among all the models. the 2 vibration motor provide high G force up to 7.5G, the adjustable deck angle adjustment system allow the operator to adjust the deck angle for different purpose during operation, you only need to adjust from one side, then the other side is also adjusted automatically, some other brand shale shaker will need 2 operators to adjust the deck angle at the same time from 2 sides by using same deck angle, it is inconvenient for operation.
