2)    Each piece screen purchasing equals to one point, the accumulated bonus points could be used as part of the cost, up to US Dollars 15,000, of the equipment. The drilling companies need to replace their solids control equipments once the old equipments are too old to treat the drilling mud well, like shale shaker, mud cleaner, decanter centrifuge, etc. But the purchasing order with discount over 10% is excluded with the promotion plan. Even though the oil & gas drilling activities slowed down in the past years, shaker screen is the most consumpable wear parts of the shale shaker, the drilling companies need to use shaker screens every day, GN focus on the shaker screens technology improvement and marketing. The possible failures of bad quality screens as below:
1) Rubbers not suitable for oil based drilling mud and not heat resistant for the high temperature drilling fluids
2) Wire mesh is easy damaged, working life is very short, need to be replaced frequently
3) Rubber sealing is not good , easily leakage of drilling mud
4) Screen dimension incorrect, can not install it on the shale shaker properly
5) Shaker screen frame working life is not very long, easy to break
6) Separation cut point did not comply with API RP 13C regulation, can not meet the drilling requirement by using the same API mesh
7) Effective screen area is not big enough, so it will influence the treating capacity

This week GN solids control shipped one set of 1000HP rig solids control system to Romania.
The technical specs are as below:

5 sets of container sized mud tanks, with safety guard handrails, walkways, stairs, valves, flexible connection.

2 units of desander desilter feeding pump
2 units of mixing pump
2 sets of mixing hopper

1 set of ATEX, CE certified electric control system to control all the motors in the solids control system, and explosion proof cables, gland, starters, motors
The mixing pump, charging pump, feeding pump all with the same model centrifugal pump, all the spare parts are replaceable with Mission Magnum pump.

All the compartment with proper size mud agitator except for sand trap.
Recently we have several mud tank systems under construction, the workers have to working hard by 2 shift everyday to finish the production, through the proper management and arrangement, we finished the order on time.
The shale shaker and mud cleaner bottom shaker has the same model shaker, we produce our own shaker screens for our shale shaker. Our composite material shaker screen dimension is replaceable with Swaco Mongoose PT shaker screen. The composite material screen has longer working life and larger effective screen area, better separation performance, the composite material frame is thinner than metal frame, so the effective screen area became larger.

Several month ago, GN solids control shipped 2 sets of oil sludge separation system to Middle east client, now the oil sludge separation system has been installed successfully in the client’s site.

The complete oil sludge separation system including:
1)    Pre-mixing unit
The function of pre-mixing unit is increase the flowability and lower the viscosity of the oil sludge through the agitating and heating line, the boiler can provide the hot steam to the heating lines to heat the oil sludge. The oil sludge is storaged in the waste pit and it is transferred by vacuum pump to the pre-mixing tank. But the client needs a air compressor for the working of vacuum pump.

2)    Shaker tank unit
The shale shaker is special designed with cover to avoid the oily sludge splashing and there is hot water spray line to spray hot water to the shaker screen, to prevent the shaker screens from blocking, which will make the shale shaker working better.
3)    Decanter centrifuge separation unit

We provide different model decanter centrifuge with different treating capacity with oily sludge, right not we have 10m3/h decanter centrifuge and 20~25 m3/h decanter centrifuge. The VFD control panel is installed on the telescopic skid with the screw pump. The static mixer is used to mix the chemical before feeding to the centrifuge feed pipe.
4)    Chemical dosing unit
The chemical dosing unit is installed in the 20ft container for convenient operation and shipment.
5)    3 phase separation unit
The 3 phase separation unit including slant plate clarifier, gravity type oil water separator and micro bubble type oil water separator. The clear water and clear oil is flow to the water buffer tank and oil buffer tank. The water pump and oil pump will transfer the water and oil to the storage tank automatically once it is reach the setting value.

GN solids control shipped one set of oil sludge treatment system to our Africa client last November, now the system has been set up in the client’s rig site in Uganda.

The oil sludge treatment system including:
1. shale shaker tank skid:
GNZS594E-LD High G drying shaker is 4 panel pretentioned shaker screen shale shaker, it is used for the drying of the cuttings/WBM/oil sludge and separation of the coarse solids from the oil sludge.The screen size is 585x1165mm, composite material shaker screens with stainless steel 304 wire mesh. The shaker is with hot water spray system to avoid the blocking of the oil sludge on the screen because of high viscosity.
2. decanter centrifuge with dewatering unit tank skid:
VFD decanter centrifuge with dewatering unit on the same mud tank skid, the 14 inch bowl decanter centrifuge is the best sold model centrifuge for oil sludge treatment system, Before feeding to the centrifuge inlet pipe, the heated oil sludge ( from the shaker tank) will be adding chemicals and mixed in static mixer then flow to the centrifuge feed pipe. After treatment of the decanter centrifuge, the fluids will be adding acid or alkali to adjust the PH value for safety disposal.
3. Acid & Alkali Liquid storage Skid
4. 3 phase separation system skid, it is also called oil water separator skid, including slant plate clarifier and oil water separator.The clean oil and clean water will be separated and storaged in the buffer tank.
5. Screw conveyor to transfer the discharge cuttings from shale shaker and decanter centrifuge
We have 10inch diameter, 12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch screw convetor with different length for option, each section is 12ft length, you can choose 1 section, or 2,3,4 section according to the rig area dimension. The discharged solids will be transferred automatically by the augers to the waste container for disposal.

This week GN solids control shipped several sets of linear motion shale shakers to Russia, this is not the first order from this Russia client, they had orders huge qty equipments since last year.

The linear motion shale shaker is the 4-panel screen shale shaker with screen dimension 585 x 1165mm, composite material frame pre-tensioned shaker screens. GN shaker screen with 3 layers stainless steel 304 ( or SS316l) wire mesh for all the screens finer than API60. The composite material screen can be anti-corrosion and anti-rust for over 5 years storage. The screens can be also used for Swaco Mongoose or Meerkat shale shaker if the clients have these model shale shakers.
The linear motion shale shaker is more cost effective and common design all around the world, sometimes balanced elliptical motion or progressive elliptical motion shale shaker is required for some special drilling fluids.
We have several options for vibration motors, normally we use Italy Oli brand vibrators, for special required explosion proof standard like IEC ex, ATEX, GN will use either Italy Oli or US martin for option.

Except for linear motion shale shaker, GN solids control also sold a lot of linear motion mud cleaner with the same bottom shaker model, high speed decanter centrifuge, high G force vertical cuttings dryer to Russia, thousands of shaker screens are sold monthly for US brand shale shaker and Chinese brand shale shakers.
When using the linear motion shale shaker for oil based drilling mud, the operator can use different API mesh size to reach the drilling requirement which is different with water based drilling mud.
We also have high G force drying shaker for drilling waste management, the G force up to 8.0 G, with hopper feeder instead of weir feeder. If you need solids control equipments, pls contact with GN solids control.

The sludge separation system used in construction industry is used widely for water recovery and drying the waste cake. The waste water can be reused for construction industry to save water consumption cost. In some developed countries the waste sludge produced in construction industry is strictly controlled for disposal, so the moisture in the discharged cake should be as dry as possible. Also in some specified projects, huge amount water is required such as Tunneling, pilings, etc.

The big bowl big treating capacity GNLW553-VFD decanter centrifuge, with 22 inch bowl diameter and 71 inch bowl length, this is not the largest centrifuge GN produced, we also have 30 inch bowl centrifuge, with max treating capacity 200m3/h, it is suitable for big tunneling project.

Based on the waste water treatment standard, chemical dosing system is required before feeding to the decanter centrifuge, so it can separate the cut point up to 1 microns.
