Last week GN solids control shipped nearly 10 units of linear motion shale shaker and one container of shaker screens to middle east. This is not a new client, he ever bought our shaker screens before and he is satisfied with the quality, performance and price, he understand that shaker screens production is with very complicated technology compared with shale shaker, if you can produce shaker screens very well, then you can also produce shale shaker well. Before we produce the replacement shaker screens for world famous brand shaker, now we produce shaker screens for both other brand shale shaker and our own shale shaker.

The shale shakers we shipped is 4-panel shale shaker which is the best sold model last year for oil & gas drilling industry, this model shaker can be also used as high G drying shaker for drilling waste management system by replacing the buffer box.

GN solids control second new factory is located in the suburbs of Beijing, very close to Beijing International airport and only 2km from the headquarter of GN solids control, which is used since 2013. The new factory is mainly used to produce decanter centrifuge, big bowl big volume industry centrifuge, vertical cuttings dryer, shaker screens, electric control panel, etc.

We introduced advanced shaker screen production lines to produce the replacement shaker screens for various models shale shakers, and also OEM screens for GN own shale shaker GNZS703E, GNZS594E, GNZS752.
GN automatic robot welding of the screen frame to reduce the manpower, manpower has been higher in China compared with several years ago, if we can use less workers, we will save a lot in production cost, which allows us to offer competitive price to our clients.
And the robot welding lead the welding quality steadily, so the shaker screen frame quality is with better quality and consistency compared with man made welding.
The 4 sides pre-tension of wire mesh during the heat press to minimize the gap between the top screen and support screen, to extend the screen life.

This is the 6^th time for GN solids control to show at OTC in Houston, and this is the 3^rd time for GN solids America to participate the show, we start to show our decanter centrifuge at OTC since 2012, when our USA branch office is still in preparation.

This year we will show our new equipments as below:

• Hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge: GN VFD decanter centrifuge has been widely used in drilling waste management system, oil sludge separation system, solids control system and waste water treatment. The hydraulic drive centrifuge is can be used in some area when electricity is limited, could be another option.
• New developed shale shaker: Different with the traditional shale shaker, the new technology shaker screens can save the shaker screen replacement time for easy operation.
• Updated shaker screens: Since June of 2016, we start the production of shaker screens in our new factory in Beijing, we introduced new shaker screens production line, especially for the production of composite material shaker screens, replacement screens for most of the other brand shale shakers.

GN solids control will participate CIPPE 2017 in Beijing, China. As usual, we will take our traditional solids control equipments and new developed products to show there, because GN solids control factory is very closed to the exhibition center, we can take the equipments by truck easily.

What new products we will show?
1)    Vacuum pump: It is the ideal pump to transfer drilling waste cuttings, oil sludge from refinery tank bottom cleaning, which with high solid content and viscosity.

2)    Big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge for tunneling project. Before the biggest bowl diameter we can made is 22 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, right now we can make centrifuge bowl diameter up to 30 inch.
3)    Centrifugal degasser: Different with horizontal type vacuum degasser, the centrifugal degasser with compact design and small footprint, it is easy for operation and maintenance.
Except for these new equipments, GN will also take our traditional solids control equipments as usual. Including drilling waste management equipments as vertical cuttings dryer,VFD decanter centrifuge, screw conveyor, mud tank skid. Solids control equipments including 4-panel shale shaker, 3 in 1 mud cleaner, and TBM desander unit( compact design, economic mud system).

GN solids control will celebrate for Chinese New Year from Jan. 22th to Feb.3rd, but we are still available for calling and email. Welcome to send us your requirement.

After the Chinese Spring Festival holiday, our engineer team will fly to middle east for the first time commissioning and installation service for the 2 sets of oily sludge treatment system, the target for the system is for oil recovery from oil tank cleaning of refinery, and oil in the cake less than 3% for disposal, the water will be sent to water treatment plant or circulation in the system for washing the oil sludge again.
Also we will enlarge the production line of composite material shaker screens, not only for GN own shale shaker, but also for replacement shaker screens of other brand shale shaker. And the production of Thermal Desorption Unit will be on schedule after the holiday, we will always be hard working and keep developing in the new year.
Most of GN solids control workers are from the province which is far from Beijing, they keep working the whole year, and the Chinese New Year is good opportunity to take a good rest and meet their families, some of them will stay at home till the Lantern Festival, then back to work.
So the production time of the recent orders are very urgent, we already prepare a lot of stock for fast delivery before the holiday in case of lack of workers. And we will arrange production according to the payment date and urgent order will be take in priority.

The centrifugal type vacuum degasser is our new products, our traditional vacuum degasser is horizontal type with a horizontal vessel. For 1000~1200 gpm treating capacity vacuum degasser, we have GNZCQ270A model, for 1500gpm treating capacity, we have GNZCQ360A.
The shale shaker GNZS593E is developing from 4-panel shale shaker GNZS594E-HB, with screen dimension 585x1165mm, and total screen area is 2.73m2. Sometimes when the mud tank width has a limit to install the 4-panel shale shaker, we will install 3-panel shale shaker like GNZS703E and GNZS593E.
Decanter centrifuge is one of our popular equipments, which is the best sold model GNLW363CG high speed decanter centrifuge, the max speed up to 3900rpm, the normal working speed is 3200rpm. The centrifuge can be used for high gravity drilling fluids, low gravity drilling fluids and barite recovery.

GN solids control showed our high speed decanter centrifuge at Petro-tech 2016 in India, a lot of clients showed interests on our decanter centrifuge. GN decanter centrifuge can be used for the industries below:
(1) Oil sludge separation: the VFD decanter centrifuge can separate ultra fine solids from the oil water mixture fluids by adding chemicals, then feed to the 3 phase separation system.

(2) Drilling waste management system: VFD decanter centrifuge can separate fine solids from the drilling fluids discharged from the vertical cuttings dryer, the solids content in the cuttings discharged by the vertical cuttings dryer is under 5%.
(3) Solids control system: high speed decanter centrifuge can separate barite from the drilling fluids, to reuse the barite can save huge cost for the drilling company, also it can separate the low gravity solids from the drilling fluids to reuse the drilling fluids.
(4) Waste water treatment: with dewatering unit and polymer dosing system, the decanter centrifuge can separate solids from waste water as thickening centrifuge.
The solids discharged from the decanter centrifuge is dry enough like a cake, you can adjust the humidity of the discharged solids by adjust the pond depth plate on the big end of the centrifuge bowl.

Recently GN solids control is going to ship one set of oil sludge waste treatment system to Africa for a oilfield service company. The oil sludge waste is coming from crude oil tank cleaning, refinery, solids control drilling waste, etc. GN drilling waste management equipments are also using in South America for oil sludge waste treatment system for the same applications.

This customized oil sludge treatment system is composed of 5 parts, each part as a separated modular:
Part 1: shaker skid
The shaker skid including one unit of high G drying shaker and 1 set of skid mounted mud tank. The function of this unit is to separate big solids from the oil waste.
Part 2: Centrifuge skid

The centrifuge skid including one unit of high speed decanter centrifuge and 1 set of skid mounted mud tank, the centrifuge with 4 supporting legs on the mud tank, for the centrifuge mounted on the telescopic skid, there is no such supporting legs, only skid.
Part 3: Dewatering Unit
The dewatering unit is mounted on the skid of the centrifuge unit for convenient operation and transportation. The 3 compartment polymer mixing tank with dozing system and control system composed of dewatering unit. We have option to put them in the 20ft container or not, but the client need to make a proof cover on top of the dewatering unit if no container.
