Sludge Dewatering Screw Press Package for Overseas Client

Global wastewater treatment projects are constantly seeking compact, low-energy and fully automatic sludge disposal solutions. Recently, we finished manufacturing and full factory acceptance testing of an integrated sludge dewatering package tailor-made for one of our long-term overseas partners. This complete system combines the GNDL302 multi-disc screw press and matching GNSJY2000 automatic chemical dosing unit, delivering a one-stop solid-liquid separation solution for municipal and industrial sludge treatment.
At the heart of the whole set is the GNDL302 sludge dewatering screw press. Built with a patented stacked fixed-floating disc structure, it relies on variable screw pitch and gradual extrusion pressure to finish sludge thickening and deep dewatering in one continuous flow. Unlike traditional belt filter presses or centrifuges, its self-cleaning disc design fundamentally avoids clogging, supporting stable 24/7 unattended operation with far lower water and power consumption. The entire contact flow path adopts anti-corrosion stainless steel, adapting to diverse sludge types including municipal residual sludge, food processing sludge and chemical industrial sludge. After extrusion, high-dryness sludge cake is discharged steadily, drastically cutting sludge transportation and landfill costs for overseas plants with limited space and tight operation budgetsgn-decante….
To maximize dewatering efficiency, the package is equipped with the GNSJY2000 automatic chemical dosing unit as essential pre-treatment equipment. This three-chamber integrated system automatically completes polymer powder feeding, dissolving, curing and precision metering dosing without manual intervention. It eliminates uneven flocculation caused by hand mixing, forming dense, water-permeable sludge flocs before sludge enters the screw press. Accurate chemical dosage control effectively reduces flocculant consumption by 15% to 20%, balancing treatment performance and daily operation expenses for overseas end users.
What stands out for international clients is the package’s modular skid-mounted design. The screw press and dosing unit are pre-assembled and wired in our workshop, enabling fast container shipping and on-site plug-and-play installation, which greatly shortens overseas construction cycles. The unified PLC control system links two devices synchronously, supporting remote parameter adjustment and fault alarm to meet global intelligent environmental protection standards. All core components pass CE and ISO certifications, matching strict overseas environmental compliance requirements.
As environmental regulations grow stricter worldwide, integrated sludge dewatering packages have become a mainstream choice for wastewater facilities. This GNDL302 plus GNSJY2000 combo proves our capability to provide customized, cost-effective separation technology for global clients. We will keep optimizing compact, energy-saving sludge treatment equipment to support more overseas partners in achieving cleaner, more economical sludge management.

GN Hydraulic Drive Centrifuge Unit for Diamond Core Drilling In Australia

Diamond Core Drilling operations demand precse solids control to maintain drilling fluid quality and protect expensive core bits. GN Solids Control, a leading manufacturer of solids control equipment, recently delivered a specialized hydraulic drive centrifuge unit to an Australian exploration client. This shipment underscores the company’s growing presence in the Asia-Pacific region and its capability to deliver tailored solutions for remote drilling operations.

Full Hydraulic Drive Centrifuge Technology

At the core of the supplied system is the GNLW223D-FHD Hydraulic Drive Centrifuge, engineered specifically for diamond core drilling applications. Unlike traditional electric-driven models, this unit operates entirely on hydraulic power, making it ideal for integration with drilling rigs already equipped with hydraulic systems. The centrifuge achieves a cutting point of 2–5 microns and delivers a processing capacity of 50–100 GPM, effectively removing ultra-fine solids that would otherwise accelerate bit wear and reduce core recovery quality.

The full hydraulic drive configuration provides independent, continuous control over both bowl speed and scroll differential speed. Operators can adjust parameters in real time to match changing mud conditions, ensuring optimal separation efficiency across varying drilling formations. The bowl rotates at speeds up to 3400 RPM, generating sufficient G-force to separate fine solid particles from the drilling fluid slurry. Key wear components—including the screw conveyor with tungsten carbide tile protection and solids discharge ports with tungsten carbide inserts—are built for extended service life in abrasive drilling environments.

Complete Solids Removal System Configuration

The Australian package includes a comprehensive solids removal unit designed for trailer-mounted deployment. The system features a 6 m3 mud tank with a compact skid structure, allowing easy transport between exploration sites. Two GN40ZJL-25-FHD feeding and discharge pumps handle fluid circulation, while a GNSLD-260 mixing hopper supports rapid mud preparation when new drilling fluid is required. Additionally, two mud guns are installed to prevent solids settling and maintain uniform mud properties within the tank.

Driven by a diesel-hydraulic power unit generating 40 kW total power, the entire system operates independently of grid electricity—a critical advantage for remote exploration locations across the Australian outback. The centrifuge processes drilling fluid directly from the drill collar, separating drill solids from the mud slurry before returning clean fluid to the active system. This closed-loop configuration reduces water consumption, minimizes waste disposal volumes, and ensures consistent mud weight and viscosity throughout the drilling program.

GN Solids Control Commitment to Australian Market

With established operations through GN Solids Australia, the company provides local technical support, spare parts inventory, and after-sales service to clients across Australia and New Zealand. All diamond core drilling centrifuge units undergo rigorous factory testing before shipment, and field commissioning support is available upon request. GN Solids Control continues to expand its product portfolio for the exploration drilling sector, offering scalable solutions from single centrifuge units to complete multi-stage solids control systems tailored to specific project requirements.
