Shaker screen is type of quick-wear part widely used on shale shaker in drilling process to remove out the cuttings from drilling fluids. There are many shale shaker manufacturers in the world, and in the mean while, they also provide the original shaker screens to matching their own shaker. However, to the screen user, to find a screen supplier who provides replacement screen with cost effective price would be the best choice, as the original shaker screens are always price higher.

All screen manufacturers may have different technology to fabricate the screen. From the wire mesh choosing to glue processing, almost every procedures are different technologies.

Then how a screen manufacturer makes replacement screen for other brands?

It is well known the shaker screens could be made as per Mesh No. and API No. Mesh No. is a designation of ASTM and ISO which means how many holes within one square inch. If you order the replacement screen by telling the Mesh number, it may lead to a mistake as different manufacturer use different diameter steel wires to weave the mesh surface. Though the mesh numbers are same, the size of the hole is different. Thus if you want to order screen by providing the mesh number, you also need tell what size particles you want to separate. It is also called separating point.

On the other hand, API number is a size span of microns; all sizes in this span are classified into one API No. A specified API number means 100% of solids with size in this span will go through the screen panel. On screen performance, API also defined the non-blanked area and conductance. API number is much acceptable to manufacturer when ordering the replacement screens.

Some buyer may bring some famous screen suppliers’ mesh number to other supplier for asking replacement screen price. It should be noted that mesh number only indicates the first top layer wire mesh performance. A better way is to provide the complete screen part number, and then screen manufacturer is able to find the corresponding API number. It will help both the user and supplier to avoid mistakes.

Since the polymers are in big totes, they need to hang the polymers bag on top of the mixing hopper when they want to blend polymers. 1) One set shale shaker GNZS703E-DZ, this is GN 3 panel shaker specialized for HDD drilling. We also have 4 panel shaker for option. GNZS594E-HB shaker is mostly used for oil drilling, longer shaker deck with 4 panel composite material shaker screen can reach much better performance than 3 panel shakers.

2) One set mud cleaner GNZJ703-1S8N. This is three in one unit mud cleaner with shale shaker & desander unit & desilter unit. It contain 2 phase separation steps, but only one unit, much compact design. The deck shaker is same as shale shaker in above, same spare parts, much convenient for spare parts stock.

3) Three sets centrifugal pump GNSB 6X5-12J. One pump is feeding for desander cones; the other one pump feeding for desilter cones; the last one pump for transferring the mud out to rig.

4) Mud hopper installed upside of the mud tank, for mixing chemicals, like bentonite / barite. Some client want the mud hopper installed downside the mud tank, easy for mixing. In this case, we may offer one set jet mud mixer with one mud hopper & one pump installed on same skid plate. This part can be customized as per clients’ requirements.

GN 500GPM mud recycling system is the most popular size for different kind of trenchless activities, like horizontal directional drilling (HDD), coal bed methane (CBM), water well drilling, and small size workover rigs.

1. Connect the main power source; turn on power source switch of system electric control cabinet, working voltage shown on voltmeter.

3. Press 2# Sand Pump start button when start it. 2# Sand Pump is started while indicator light for 2# Sand Pump Operation is on and 2# Sand Pump start to run.  Press 2# Sand Pump stop button when stop it. 2# Sand Pump is stopped while indicator light is off and pump stops.

4. Press Mud Agitator start button when start it. Mud Agitator is started while indicate light for Mud Agitator Operation is on and Mud Agitator start to run.  Press Mud Agitator stop button when stop it. Mud Agitator is stopped while indicate light is off and Mud Agitator stops.

5. Press Submersible Pump start button when start it. Recently, we have two sets of 1500gpm mud system for one big HDD project. The client is China local famous contractor on HDD project and Tunnelling project. The 1500gpm drilling mud system including below items:

1)       3 sets of shale shaker, each shaker 500gpm treating capacity and 1500gpm for 3 shakers. GNZS594E-HB shale shaker is the most popular shaker for oil drilling mud treatment application, the long deck with 4 panel shaker screen can reach very good working performance. For HDD project, 4 panel shaker is also very popular. The price of 4 panel shaker and 3 panel shaker is almost same, but the working performance is much better.

2)       1 sets mud cleaner with 3 ea desander cones & 16 ea desilter cones. The mud cleaner is combination of desander, desilter and deck shaker. Much compact design with smaller footprint, the treating capacity can reach to 1500gpm treating capacity.

3)       2 sets centrifugal pump for feeding desander cones & desilter cones. The centrifugal pump is replacement for NOV brandt mission pump.

4)       One recycling tank with above solids control equipment; one mud storage and mixing tank with mud agitators, mud guns, mud hoppers, shear pump, centrifugal pumps….Totally 2 mud tanks for one set 1500gpm mud system
