About Bauma China:

Bauma China 2014 attracted nearly 190,000 visitors from 149 countries and regions as well as 3,098 exhibitors from 41 countries. Once again, the show occupied all 300,000 square meters of exhibition space at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

What we will show at Bauma China 2016?

GN soilds control is specialized in manufacture of desander unit/ mud recycling system for HDD, CBM, TBM, Pilings, and pipeline crossing, etc. We have self-contained mud recycling system and economic configuration mud cleaning system for different projects, this time we will show our compact design economic configuration mud cleaning system, and we have 3 standard models for option, 50m3/h, 120m3/h, 240m3/h. This time we will show our 50m3/h desander unit, which is mainly used for bored piles, Micro Tunneling project.
There are indoor exhibition area and outdoor exhibition area, GN solids control will show our mud system at indoor exhibition area, and some large size mining and construction machines, they will show at outdoor area.
Not only for civil construction industry, GN mud cleaning system is also used
In many other different applications, like waste water with pig manure, waste sludge with chicken manure, contaminative river/ lake/ pond, waste water for washing potatoes, industrial waste water, etc.

GN solids control finished the exhibition of ADIPEC this week, we showed our decanter centrifuge and shaker screens this year, this is the third time for GN solids control to attend this exhibition and every year we received inquires from lots of clients.

GNLW363CG decanter centrifuge is the best sold centrifuge during the past years after we introduced advance production line. This 14 inch diameter bowl centrifuge has been widely used for drilling solids control system, drilling waste management system( together with high G dryer and vertical G dryer), dewatering unit, oily sludge treatment plant, waste water cleaning system.

Different with the previous clients, right now most of GN clients are from drilling waste management industry. GN decanter centrifuge together with our containerized dozing system are popular to treat the water based mud by adding polymer, flocculant or coagulant, the discharged water is clear enough for disposal or go to the water treatment plant, the solids can meet the disposal standard for landfill or injection.

GN designed and manufactured oily sludge treatment plant for hydrocarbon recovery has been approved and applied for many different applications, like refinery tank cleaning oil sludge, drilling cuttings waste from solids control system, used engine oil, gear oil, waste oil slop, etc. We can design customized system for your different requirement.
The main equipments for the oily sludge treatment plant is similar with GN standard drilling waste management system, high G drying shaker and decanter centrifuge.

This system function is similar with 3 phase centrifuge, but the performance is much better than tricanter centrifuge, and the cost is much cheaper than 3 phase centrifuge.
As per client’s feedback, the oil in the solids is much lower than 3 phase centrifuge, which can meet the standard of environmental law for disposal. The suspend solids in the water can be lowered up to required target.

GN solids control showed our Piling & TBM desander unit and GNLW223 mining centrifuge at no-dig show held in Beijing, China last week, the exhibition full name is 2016 China international Trenchless Technology Conference , which is held in on Oct. 10~ 12th, 2016 at the Agriculture Exhibition Hall in Beijing. Our stand No. is 128, which is next to Famous brand HDD machine manufacturer Goodeng and Vermeer.
We showed 2 products at the show:
(1) Piling & TBM desander unit GNMS-200D

The treating capacity is 50m3/h with compact design for transportation.
The Desander unit is composed of double deck shale shaker with 4 units of desilter cone, the separation cut point is 20 microns, desilter feeding pump, catching tank, pipelines, lighting, electric control system, handrail, stairs, etc.
The desander unit can be applied to bored piles, Tunneling, small HDD projects. Normally we called it economic mud recycling system, sometimes clients will use a storage tank and a mixing hopper together; to make all the equipments as skid mounted mud recycling system, we called it self-contained mud recycling system with recycling, mixing, storage triple functions.

(2) GNLW223 mining decanter centrifuge
It has been widely used for mining diamond core drilling waste water recycling, the purpose is to reduce the water consumption, reduce the solids disposal cost, reduce the total drilling cost to save money for the client. The max speed for the mini centrifuge is up to 5000rpm.

GN solids control shipped one unit of compact solids removal unit to our international client for core drilling in mining industry. This is the 3rd unit of solids removal unit in that area since the last shipment in July, 2015. The client who bought 2 units of solids removal units gave us some feedback and suggestion, we welcome our customers to give us comments to improve ourselves. We made some amendment and improvements according to their suggestions.
The updated design of solids removal unit is more compact compared with before, the complete design is only 2800x2100x2477mm， which can be shipped by 20ft standard container for sea freight. The 7.5HP centrifugal pump is as a multi function pump for both feeding the centrifuge and mixing. This is to save area and cost for the total unit. The special designed return back pipelines is considering the flow rate of 7.5HP centrifugal pump is bigger than the mini decanter centrifuge treating capacity, if feeding too much, the centrifuge will be easily blocked, the excess fluids should be return back to the mud tank by pipelines.

The stainless steel material mixing hopper is to prevent the hopper from corrosion. The mini decanter centrifuge is the specialized model for core drilling waste water cleaning, because the water cost is very expensive, by using GN solids removal unit, the client can save lots of water consumption and save drilling cost. The 2 panel shale shaker is a mini equipments for the 1st phase cleaning of solids removal, the treating capacity is much bigger than the decanter centrifuge, because there might be a lot of big cuttings from the core drilling , which will damage the centrifuge and influence the performance of the centrifuge, so the 1st phase cleaning is very important.

As most of the industry control panels should be used outdoors and some for hazardous environment. In order to ensure the longer lifetime and reliable performance at jobsite, all GN control panels are explosion proof higher than IP54. Good sealing for water and dust resistance is the basic request of ex performance. It ensures the control panel can be running reliably outdoors, especially for all kinds of drilling activities and underground constructions.

What kind of control panel GN Solids Control do make and offer?

1) Magnetic control for small power equipment ≤30kw. It is a kind of direct start for small motors. Magnetic control is widely used for solids control shale shaker, drilling fluids mud cleaner, high G drying shaker, drill mud agitators, small size pumps, drilling cuttings screw conveyers, etc…

2) For motors bigger than 30kw, direct start control panel is not suitable. Star delta starter control panel is widely used for motors ≥ 37kw. It can protect motors during starting.

3) Soft starter is another kind of control for motors ≥ 37kw. It generates a small current during starting. Compared with the start delta starter control panel, soft starter control panel is much better. It can save power. If client want use a small size cable for the motors or choose a smaller power generator, soft starter is better choice. But the soft starter control panel price is much higher than delta starter control panel.

Big pumps, vacuum degassers, decanter centrifuges, VG dryers, they have big motor. They should use star delta starter control panel or soft starter control panel.

4) Magnetic starter, control panel delta start control panel and soft starter control panel are for all fixed speed control. GN Solids Control does also offer variable speed control panels per request. VFD control panels are widely used for screw conveyer to change the transfer speed, transfer screw pump, decanter centrifuges.

Recently GN solids control start to apply our decanter centrifuge for industries except for oil & gas drilling, constructions industry, for example, industry waste water treatment, oil tank bottom cleaning, solids waste treatment, etc.
GNLW553C-VFD big bowl decanter centrifuge with dosing system can be used for industry waste water treatment. We have 3 models decanter centrifuges can be used together with dosing system. GNLW363CG-VFD is with 14inch bowl decanter centrifuge, which is the most popular model. GNLW453C-VFD is the 18 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, it is the middle model. GNLW553C-VFD is with 22 inch diameter big bowl which is the biggest model decanter centrifuge.

The dosing system is installed inside a 20ft container, with lights, windows, doors, air conditioner, etc, for convenient operation and transportation. To reduce the total cost of the dosing system, the dosing system with only a polyurethane material mixing tank and 2 dosing pump with electric control panel. The VFD control panel is not same configuration with oilfield explosion proof VFD control panel, it is a low cost special designed for non explosion proof applications, for example, TBM, dredging slurry separation, sewage water treatment, etc. The non exploson proof VFD control panel is also PLC smart control and touch screen, but the cover is not full of stainless steel material.

GN solids control is a professional manufacturer for mud mixing tank system for both HDD & CBM mud recycling system and oil & gas drilling solids control system, liquid mud plant.

Recently we are going to ship 4 tanks mud mixing tank system to our client, together with a separate jet mud mixer unit with a powder adding hopper with operation table. The working principal is as below:
The separate jet mud mixer system can mix the drilling fluids for any of the 4 mud tanks, The jet mud mixer unit including oilfield skid with mixing hopper, mixing centrifugal pump, electrical control panel and pipelines, there us a chemical adding hopper on top of the bottom mixing hopper, the purpose is to mix the drilling fluids better and the chemical powder can be adding by folk lift and lots of chemical bags could be put on the hopper frame for convenient operation. The normal jet mud mixer unit with only the bottom hopper and mixing hopper, the top hopper frame is specially designed for this client. This is not his first order.

The total tank volume is 120m3, we can design customized mud mixing tank for client’s different requirement according to their required storage volume. The mud mixing tank could be used as storage tank and mixing tank.
We had designed and manufactured hundreds of mud mixing tank system in India and Indonesia, some of them are single tank mixing system, some of the projects are multi tanks mixing system, and the tank size could be loading inside the sea freight container or same dimension with the standard container.
