4 Sets Drilling Mud Tank Cleaning Wastewater Treatment Systems Shipped to African Client

GN Solids Control, a professional manufacturer of solids control and wastewater treatment equipment, has successfully completed the delivery of 4 sets of high-performance drilling mud tank cleaning wastewater treatment systems to a long-term cooperative African client on September 11, 2026. The customized integrated systems are tailored for local onshore drilling mud tank maintenance and wastewater recycling projects, effectively solving the problems of mud tank sediment accumulation and waste water discharge in African drilling operations.

The complete set of equipment is centered on the Mud Tank Cleaning Unit, adopting a closed-loop circulating cleaning and purification design. It integrates high-pressure cleaning, sewage collection, solid-liquid separation and water recycling functions, realizing automatic, efficient and low-consumption cleaning of various mud tanks, oil tanks and slurry tanks. The system features stable operation, strong environmental adaptability, and can adapt to the harsh working conditions of high temperature and dust in African mining and drilling sites.

Core Configuration & Working Advantages

Each mud tank cleaning system is equipped with a supporting Vacuum Pump unit, which serves as the core power component for waste sludge and sewage transportation. The pneumatic vacuum pump can handle high-density sludge and wastewater with a maximum solid content of 80%, efficiently sucking sediment and residual mud from the bottom of the tank, and avoiding secondary pollution caused by manual cleaning. With a maximum suction distance of 50 meters and a discharge distance of up to 1000 meters, the pump meets the large-range material transfer requirements of on-site tank cleaning operations.

Matching with professional mud cleaning and solid-liquid separation modules, the system can effectively separate fine solid particles in cleaning wastewater. The purified water can be recycled for secondary tank cleaning, greatly reducing on-site water resource consumption and meeting local environmental protection discharge standards. The fully enclosed operation mode avoids mud splashing and waste overflow, optimizing the on-site construction environment.

Customized Service & Global Support

According to the client’s on-site construction scale and equipment layout requirements, GN Solids Control has optimized the system skid structure, making the integrated unit compact and easy to transport, install and debug. All electrical components adopt explosion-proof configuration that meets IEC EX and ATEX standards, adapting to flammable and explosive working environments of oil and gas drilling.

As a global supplier of solids control equipment, GN Solids Control provides one-stop services including customized design, factory pre-assembly, on-site guidance and after-sales maintenance for overseas clients. The successful delivery of this batch of equipment further expands the brand influence in the African drilling and environmental protection market, laying a solid foundation for subsequent long-term strategic cooperation.
