This large decanter centrifuge features a 30-inch horizontal rotating bowl constructed from high-strength duplex stainless steel, offering outstanding resistance to corrosion and particle abrasion. Inside the bowl, the screw flight is protected by replaceable tungsten carbide wear sleeves and tiles. These wear-resistant configurations effectively cope with abrasive mineral particles in ore pulp, greatly extending service life and lowering long-term maintenance frequency. Equipped with a full VFD control system, operators can flexibly adjust bowl speed and differential rotation speed according to fluctuating slurry concentration, particle size and processing load.
In operation, raw mining slurry continuously feeds into the rotating bowl. Powerful centrifugal force pushes heavy solid particles toward the bowl inner wall, forming dense sediment. The screw conveyor rotating at a slight speed difference continuously transports concentrated solids toward the solid discharge outlet, while clarified process liquid flows out from the liquid overflow end. The whole separation and concentration process runs fully automatically around the clock, requiring minimal manual intervention. Compared with conventional thickeners, the unit requires far smaller installation footprint and achieves stable slurry thickening performance without large flocculant consumption.
Strict factory running-in standards guarantee reliable performance before delivery. During FAT, the machine undergoes staged low-speed, medium-speed and maximum-speed running-in procedures. Temperature rise of key bearings is controlled below 45℃, eliminating hidden mechanical risks before shipment. Rubber anti-vibration pads are installed on the base to reduce vibration transmission during high-speed operation and improve running stability.
