Mainly the dredging slurry dewatering equipments including shale shaker ( to separate coarse solids and reduce solids content) , desander ( solids separation cut point 40 microns), desilter ( solids separation cut point 20 microns), big bowl dewatering centrifuge ( mechanical separation cut point 2~5 microns, working with chemical dosing to improve the separation efficiency), feeding pump, screw conveyor ( to transfer the discharged solids), mud tank for liquids storage, with pipelines for proper flow diagram. The working process is as below:


Firstly the shale shaker separate the coarse solids bigger than 300 microns by using proper mesh size shaker screen, secondly the desander cone to separate the 50~300 microns solids, the desilter cone to separate the 20~ 50 microns material, the dewatering centrifuge to separate fine solids to get clean water, which can be sent to waste water treatment facility if need. The solids can be transferred by screw conveyor to cuttings collection box and transfer to other area for construction area. The whole system meets the standard of North America usage.


The big bowl dewatering centrifuge is 30 inch bowl diameter, the bowl length is 131 inch, the designed capacity is 528gpm, the max G force is up to 3000G, the gearbox torch is 25000N.M., gearbox ratio is 38:1. The main motor is 160KW, the back drive motor is 90KW, the centrifuge is drived by the VFD control panel.

How to adjust GN shale shaker deck angle?

Shale shaker deck angle adjustment is one of the important operation for shale shaker usage. There are 2 types shale shaker deck angle adjustment method, one is electrical, one is mechanical, the deck angel adjustment is according to the drilling fluids solids size, density, feeding capacity, drilling fluids type, shaker screen type and mesh size, normally it is adjusted according to the user’s experience. GN shale shaker deck angle can be mechanically adjusted synchronously at both sides, it doesnot need 2 persons to operate the shaker at the same time, one person can do the work from one side, he can adjust both sides synchronously.
The tools to adjust the deck angle is ratchet wrench, which is stock in the tool box when delivery.


The operator holds the ratchet wrench and causes it to rotate to drive the lead screw elevator. The lead screw of the lead screw elevator drives the 4 lifting tube assembly to rise or fall, and the lifting tube assembly stops rotating when it reaches the ideal position. Through the above operations, the user can choose an appropriate angle for production based on the on-site mud performance and flow rate.
