Decanter Centrifuge for Aluminum Hydroxide Slurry separation

Last week we have a trial centrifuge for Aluminum Hydroxide Slurry Separation for our client, the client express their samples by international courier. We prepare for the decanter centrifuge installed on a mud tank with Netzsch brand screw pump as feeding pump, and prepare the dilution Aluminum hydroxide fluids by another mud tank with a mud agitator installed on it. The agitator keeps agitating the fluids to prevent it from deposition. The VFD control panel is power on and set the bowl speed and differential speed, also adjust the feeding pump motor frequency to control the flow rate. At the beginning the flow rate should be at lower level, once the centrifuge working steadily and the solids discharged from the centrifuge discharge port, the flow rate could be increased.

The trial centrifuge model is GNLW224D-VFD with single motor, the main motor power is 11kw, GNLW224E-VFD decanter centrifuge is an ideal option for waste water treatment, with both main motor and back drive motor, it is easier to adjust the differential speed, the smallest differential speed is 1 rpm, it can ensure the separation performance to get clear water and drier solids. And the cone drum angle is customized for different material treatment to get better result.

Separation & Conveying Equipment made in China

Screw conveyor and vacuum pump can be used to transfer the high solids content material, for example, the drilling cuttings, but the vacuum pump can be also used to transfer high viscosity material like oil sludge, oil contaminated soils, mining tailings, animal waste, dredging slurry, etc.
The screw conveyor has 10 inch, 12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch, 18 inch diameter for option, each section standard length is 12ft, we have 2 section, 3 section, 4 section with different length. We can provide fixed speed and variable frequency drive screw conveyor for different client. The U type screw conveyor with cover on top to prevent the fluids from spiling.


The sludge vacuum pump is air operation pump without electricity power supply, air compressor is required to provide air supply. We make the air compressor and vacuum pump on the skid for convenient movement. We have 10 m3/h, 20 m3/h and 40m3/h flow rate for option. Centrifugal pump and mud agitators to Asia client

Centrifugal pump is one of the mud transfer pump produced by GN solids control, all the parts and installation dimension is interchangeable with world famous brand centrifugal pump. The centrifugal pump is widely used to transfer the drilling fluids, drilling waste, animal waste, oil contaminated sludge, dredging slurry, also it can be used as mixing pump, super charging pump.


Screw pump is the ideal feeding pump of the decanter centrifuge, based on the material to be transferred, we will choose different fluids touch parts for the users. We use Germany made Netzsch brand screw pump to promise the reliable performance.


Except for centrifugal pump, the mud transfer pump also includes screw pump, submersible slurry pump, sludge vacuum pump.


The sludge vacuum pump is 100% air operation pump, and do not need the electricity power, it is convenient for the jobsite where the electricity supply is limited. The air compressor is required for the vacuum pump air supply, if required by the client, we can supply the air compressor suitable for the vacuum pump and design the skid mounted package for convenient movement. We have GNSP-40B, GNSP-20B, GNSP-10B vacuum pump with flow rate 40m3/h, 20m3/h, 10m3/h for option with the necessary pipeline connections.


Mud agitator is one of the most important equipments for mud tank, the proper model mud agitator can agitate the drilling mud and prevent it from accumulation in the tank bottom. The tank bottom type mud gun is also required by working together with mud agitator.

Drilling waste Treatment system working at CNPC site

Below is drilling waste treatment system made by GN solids control working at CNPC jobsite for oil based drilling cuttings treatment. The purpose to use drilling waste treatment system is to recycle the useful drilling fluids to prepare for new drilling fluids, and reduce the drilling waste to lower the influence for the environment, and lower the waste disposal cost for the client. GN made drilling waste management system has been widely used to treat the oil based drilling waste to many countries in the world.


The technical configuration is as below:
1) Vertical G dryer to separate coarse solids and the fluids will flow to the buffer tank for further treatment, the discharged solids is dry enough to be transported by the truck or for disposal directly. The discharged cuttings are as the photo below. The oil on the cuttings is below 5%, it can meet the regulation for most countries, when the client need oil on the cuttings below 1%, they can use Thermal desorption unit. The drilling waste management system can help the user to save energy before using the TDU, and increase the treatment capacity of the TDU.


2) The screw pump feed the fluids from buffer tank to 14 inch VFD decanter centrifuge to separate more fine solids from the fluids, so the final clean fluids can be reused to prepare for new fluids. The discharged solids is as the photo below.


3) The mud tank with roof for sun proof, rain proof. The centrifuge is installed on the mud tank for storage of the fluids, the screw pump of the centrifuge is also installed on the skid of the mud tank.
