GN solids control will ship 2 units of VFD decanter centrifuge to India drilling company next week. They are for ONGC project. GN provide all the documents and parameters as per the tender requirement and finally got the tender.

The ATEX certificate for positive pressurized VFD control panel and motors are installed with the GNLW453 decanter centrifuge are suitable for 460V/60HZ, 3 phase and for zone 1 application. The main components and the cabinet is imported from Europe by air. The centrifuge with offshore lifting pad, we can get DNV certificate if required by the client. The centrifuge painting color is customized by the client.
We choose screw pump as the centrifuge feeding pump, the motor is also ATEX certified 460V/60HZ, 3 phase for zone 1 application, the flow rate can be adjusted by the VFD converter by control the frequency. Centrifugal pump and submersible slurry pump can be also used as feeding pump of decanter centrifuge, but they are not effective to control the frequency to adjust the flow rate, we suggest to use valve to control the flow rate.

GN solids control shipped containerized drilling waste management system to Russia this week together with several units of high G force drying shaker.

The containerized drilling waste management system including the equipments below:
1)    Vertical cuttings dryer with flashing pump
2)    VFD decanter centrifuge with feeding pump
3)    Screw conveyor to collect the discharged solids from the vertical cuttings dryer, the oil in the cuttings is below 5%, can meet the disposal limit in most of countries

4)    Fluids collection tank to collect the discharged fluids from the vertical cuttings dryer and feed to the decanter centrifuge
5)    Container with insulation layer to keep the drilling fluids warm during winter when the temperature is minus 40 degrees in Russia area, windows, doors are opened for convenient operation and maintenance.

The containerized drilling waste management system has been widely used in Russia for many drilling fluids service companies and drilling companies because of the cold weather there, so that the client can keep working during the long winter.
The vertical cuttings dryer GNCD930 and decanter centrifuge GNLW363CG-VFD is the major equipments for drilling waste management system for oil based drilling cuttings. GN solids control recent shipment news: Australia drilling company 400bbl mud tank system. This is a customized design mud tank system for Australia drilling company.

It consists of 2 mud tanks, 2 units of linear motion shale shaker, and single skid mounted jet mud mixer for mixing.
Each mud tank with 200bbl capacity, total 400bbl capacity, each mud tank with mud agitator, mud gun, man hole, clean gate, hand rails, walkway, stairs, pipelines, etc.

The shale shaker is GNZS703F-HB , the best sold model among all the shale shaker models. The shaker screen area is total 2.63m2 for 3 panels, each screen dimension is 700x1250mm, the composite material shaker screens ensure the working life and separation performance and can effectively avoid the screen blocking and overflow. The linear motion shale shaker with high G force with adjustable G up to 7.5, the vibration motor is made of Italy Oil brand vibration motor, the fluids touch part of the shaker deck bottom plate is made of stainless steel for anti-corrosion.
The jet mud mixer is a combination of mixing hopper, mixing pump, pipelines, valves, electric control panel and all mounted on the same 3 runners oilfield skid. It connects with the mud tank, and can mix the drilling fluids from any compartment of the mud tank.

This week we shipped 1 unit of 350gpm mud cleaning system to UAE for HDD project. This is GN standard design of 350gpm mud recycling system, wit compact design, multi function, mixinig, cleaning, storage.

The technical configuration is as below:
A double deck shale shaker with 6ea of 4inch desilter cone, this is GN unique compact design to save the cost for the client, and make the complete mud system suitable for the limit area of the HDD contractor. The top layer of the double deck shale shaker as the mud cleaner to dry the separated solids , the bottom layer of the shale shaker as the coarse solids shale shaker, the 4 inch desilter cone is made of polyurethane material for abrasion resistance and longer service life.

If add 2ea of desilter cone on this system, it can be used as 500gpm mud recycling system by just changing the desilter feeding pump from 22kw to 37kw. The mud tank size and road transportation dimension are totally same.
Except for such compact design with cheaper price, we also provide customized design mud recycling system to meet the different requirement of our client. For example, for 350gpm, a separate 2 panel shale shaker with a 2 panel mud cleaner with 6 ea of 4” desilter cone.
The mixing hopper with mixing pump are installed on the mud tank to mix chemical additives with the bentonite.
For 500gpm mud recycling system, most of clients require the design of 1 ea shale shaker with 1 ea mud cleaner（ with bottom shale shaker, 1 ea desander cone, 8 ea of desilter cone, the composite material frame shaker screens are installed on the shale shaker, mud cleaner for longer working life and better performance, and it can be storage up to 5 years.

This week GN shipped 3 units of mud gas separator to France, last week we shipped 3 units of same poor boy degasser to CNPC. The mud gas separator is also called poor boy degasser, it is applied to separate the hazardous gas from the gas cut drilling mud before feeding to the shale shaker, the primary equipments of the solids control equipments.

The mud gas separator is normally installed beside the solids control system, close the well head, the flare ignitor will be connected with the gas discharge pipe of the poor boy degasser, and fire the separated gas in the remote area.
The mud gas separator is skid mounted, installed with chock manifold, it is normally used for deep drilling rig or other drillings, like geothermal drilling, coal bed methane drilling, mining exploration, gas drilling, etc. The fluids discharge line is connected with the mud flow divider or called possem belly inlet, there is bypass valve so the mud can flow to shale shaker directly bypass the mud gas separator.
The mud gas separator can separate the hazardous gas like H2S from the gas cut drilling fluids to protect the shale shaker from damaged. The vacuum degasser or centrifugal degasser will be installed on the solids control system mud tank, it also separates the gas from the drilling fluids to keep the drilling mud balance and protect the centrifugal pump.
The basic solids control system including shale shaker, desander, desilter, feeding pump, vacuum degasser, decanter centrifuge, mud tank, pill tank, trip tank with trip pump, reserve tank, mud mixing unit, etc. For customized solution of mud pit and solids control equipments, pls contact with GN solids control.
We also provide complete solution for drilling waste management system as a zero discharge system, the recycled mud can be reused by the drilling rig, the cuttings can reach the limit of landfill or send them to further process of TDU.

This week GN Start the production of cuttings solidification unit for CNPC, Last week we shipped the vertical cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge to CNPC for their drilling waste management project. The cuttings solidification unit is also an equipment to treat the final drilling cuttings when you do not need to reused the drilling mud.

The configuration of the cuttings solidification unit for CNPC, including:
1 Cuttings collection: The cuttings collection system including a hopper with a screw conveyor, The drilling cuttings from solids control system and drilling waste management system will be collected by the hopper and transferred by the screw conveyor to the mixing vessel.
2 Chemical storage：One of them are used to storage the curing agent, one is used to storage the desiccant, the screw conveyor equipped on the tank will transfer the chemicals to the mixing vessel automatically.

The cuttings collection system( vacuum pump, screw conveyor, etc. equipments) to transfer the drilling waste to the vertical cuttings dryer inlet port on the top, the solids discharged from vertical cuttings dryer with OOC below 5%, the fluids will flow to the intermediate tank, the screw pump will pump the fluids to the decanter centrifuge to separate fine solids from the fluids, because the normal screen opening of the screen basket of the vertical cuttings dryer is 0.35mm, 0.5mm, most of the fine solids still remained in the fluids, it can not reach the standard to be reused.
The decanter centrifuge can be used for both barite recovery, low gravity solids separation, high gravity solids separation and drilling waste management system.

The screen dimension is replaceable with Swaco Mongoose PT shale shaker. The composite material frame shaker screen with 20% bigger effective screen area, and the working life will be much more longer compared with traditional steel frame shaker screen.
GNZS593E-HB shale shaker is a new design from GNZS594E-HB shale shaker, for some old solids control system which ever installed other brand shale shaker, there is no enough place to install the 4 panel shale shaker, so we design the 3 panel shale shaker instead of the 4 panel shale shaker, and with the same shaker screen dimension, the clients can use our OEM shaker screens for both GN shale shaker and Swaco Mongoose shale shaker.

We have horizontal vacuum degasser and centrifugal degasser for option, horizontal vacuum degasser is a traditional vacuum degasser, centrifugal degasser is installed vertically to save place on the mud tank system, and the maintenance cost is cheaper.
